Falcon Rappaport & Berkman Promotes Karen C. Davakis to Partner in Estate Litigation Practice Group
New York, NY – [September 9, 2025] – Falcon Rappaport & Berkman (FRB) is pleased to announce that Karen C. Davakis has been promoted to Partner in the firm’s Trusts & Estates Litigation and Fiduciary Accounting Practice Groups. Ms. Davakis joined the firm a year ago and has quickly become a trusted advisor to clients, specializing in complex trusts and estates litigation, contested probate, accounting, fiduciary removal, turnover, and related matters.

Ms. Davakis began her career in trusts and estates law in 2014, practicing initially with a sole practitioner and later focusing exclusively on trusts and estates litigation at Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP from 2020 to 2024. She is known for guiding clients through complex litigation while fostering relationships built on transparency and trust.
In addition to her litigation work, Ms. Davakis is regularly appointed by the Court to serve as a Guardian ad Litem in Surrogate’s Court matters. She is also a dedicated advocate for women in law, providing mentorship, leadership training, and networking opportunities to support the next generation of female attorneys.

Ms. Davakis earned her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York and is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, New York City Bar Association, and Nassau County Bar Association. She also serves on the Advisory Board for Forbes Advisor Legal.
