Michele Schlereth Honored With LIBN’s Leaders in Business & Finance Award

We are excited to announce that FRB Founding Partner Michele Schlereth, Esq., CPA, MST has been awarded the Long Island Business News 2024 Leaders in Business & Finance Independent CPA Award. This recognition highlights financial professionals who have made significant contributions to their organizations and the Long Island community.

Michele Schlereth exemplifies these qualities through her expertise as a business advisor, particularly in taxation with a focus on trusts and estates. Her approach ensures clients receive the guidance they need to feel secure and supported in their financial decisions. With her comprehensive knowledge in areas such as succession planning, estate and gift tax, and tax controversy, Michele is uniquely qualified to address her clients' needs.

In addition to her role as a Founding Partner at Falcon Rappaport & Berkman, Michele leads Schlereth Tax and Accounting Group LLC, a full-service tax firm. She also contributed to the education of future tax professionals by teaching Estate and Gift Taxation as an adjunct professor at her alma mater, SUNY Old Westbury. Her previous experience includes nearly eight years as a Senior Tax Manager at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, and prior to that, she was the Senior Accountant at another New York firm.
