Dear Clients and Friends:

We write to update you on recent activities at FRB.

FRB is giving away its generative AI policy. The Firm has publicly released customizable AI policy templates that small and medium-sized businesses can adapt and put to work. Why give it away? Because a written policy is only the starting point. The templates were developed by FRB's Artificial Intelligence Practice Group, which helps companies navigate everything that comes after, from autonomous agents and AI notetakers to employment-related AI issues and beyond. Read the full press release here to learn more and access the templates.

Next, we are proud to congratulate FRB General Counsel and Corporate & Securities Partner James Black on his appointment to the Board of Directors of ADDAPT, Long Island’s defense and aerospace trade organization. Jim’s appointment reflects his extensive experience advising businesses on corporate compliance, government contracts, and complex regulatory matters, as well as his longstanding commitment to supporting Long Island’s business community. We are also pleased to share that Jim was recently appointed Vice Chair of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Attorney Professionalism, a recognition of his dedication to ethics, civility, and professional service within the legal profession. Congratulations, Jim!

Also, we are pleased to congratulate FRB Partner Steven Cooper on his election as President of the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association. Steven officially assumed the role at the Association’s Annual Dinner last month, where FRB was proud to serve as a sponsor and celebrate this well-deserved achievement alongside members of the Greater Bridgeport legal community. Learn more about Steven’s appointment and check out photos from the dinner here.

In June, FRB Partner Allen Abraham was a featured speaker at Legal Tech Talk London on the panel "Passing the Baton: What to Do When Your Tech Champion Leaves," discussing how law firms can prepare for technology leadership transitions through strong AI governance, institutional knowledge, building repeatable processes, and successfully implementing AI legal tools that drive long-term innovation. Learn more and see photos from the panel here.

Lastly, FRB was honored to support SIBSPlace’s 2026 Sunshine Luncheon. Co-Managing Partner Kenneth Falcon and Susan Falcon attended on behalf of the firm, joining community leaders in support of children and families navigating serious illness, grief, and loss. The event served as a meaningful reminder of the power of compassion, connection, and community, and we are proud to support SIBSPlace’s mission.
