She served for many years as chair of the Legal Advisory Committee of the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation and is still active on that committee. She handles elder law matters for the United Federation of Teachers (UFT) and the Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA) and is a frequent lecturer for medical facilities, bar associations, financial planners and community organizations. She is a member of the Board of Directors of her condominium.
