Marlena is an attorney in Falcon Rappaport and Berkman’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group whose legal practice encompasses all aspects of litigation. She works across the firm’s departmental lines to efficiently litigate on behalf of FRB’s range of legal practice areas. Marlena has experience before New York agencies, state courts, and federal courts litigating matters involving civil rights, labor and employment, property law, commercial law, and more.
Prior to joining FRB, Marlena was an associate at a labor and employment firm. Prior to that, she was Senior Counsel at the New York City Law Department, practicing in the Tort Division and later the General Litigation Division. Initially following graduation from law school, she was the law clerk to the Honorable Colleen M. Flynn, the Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division in New Jersey Superior Court, Middlesex County.
