Professional Experience
Caitlin received her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, magna cum laude, where she was a Miami Public Interest Scholar. While in law school, she served as a fellow with the Children & Youth Law Clinic, a Symposia Editor for the University of Miami Race & Social Justice Law Review, and a Writing Dean’s Fellow for first-year law students. In connection with her public interest internships and engagements in law school, she received Miami Law’s Exemplary Service to the Poor award. Caitlin was also a finalist at the 23rd Annual Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition and selected as a recipient of the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence as well as an honoree for The Order of Barristers. Caitlin earned her B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies, with a minor in Dispute Management and Resolution, with honors and highest distinction from The Pennsylvania State University, Schreyer Honors College. Prior to law school, she taught high school mathematics as a Teach for America corps member in the School District of Philadelphia.
After graduating, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Elizabeth S. Stong of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York and the Honorable Kevin Gross of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Prior to joining FRB, Caitlin worked as an associate at the New York offices of two global law firms and as a claims consultant for a Fortune 100 company.
