Professional Experience

Av Sinensky is a Partner in FRB’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group. He has a broad-based transactional practice with extensive experience advising business owners, independent sponsors, private equity groups and middle market companies in structuring and negotiating mergers, acquisitions, investments, divestitures, joint ventures and other corporate transactions. Av also regularly counsels founders and investors in connection with startup formations and the negotiation of capital raise transactions, partnership agreements, employment arrangements and commercial contracts.

Av is a trusted business advisor who offers a client-centered approach and values the opportunity to help clients navigate life-changing transactions. His firm commitment to not only servicing clients but also empowering them through education and understanding enables him to deliver positive results to entrepreneurs and investors throughout all stages of the business life cycle and across a wide range of industries.

Av is a respected thought leader in his field and regularly writes and presents on a wide variety of business and corporate law topics. His articles have been featured in the Long Island Business News, USLAW Magazine, and the New York Law Journal and he has appeared as a speaker at events sponsored by the New York City Bar Association, Small Business Expo and numerous professional organizations and affinity groups.

Outside his legal practice, Av is a public speaker, podcast host and content creator. As a grandchild of Holocaust survivors, he has served as a speaker for 3GNY and appeared before dozens of classes of school students to share his grandparents’ story. He is the host of Pretty Pretty Pretty Good, a podcast about Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm, and has produced two seasons of Real Survivor Fantasy Football, a hybrid fantasy football/online reality game show. Av is also a longtime fan of the New York Mets and New York Jets.

He resides in West Hempstead, NY, with his wife, Rachel, and daughters, Annie and Emily.
