Professional Experience
Bridget Eichinger focuses her practice on estate planning and administration. Her clients are individuals and couples who need estate planning documents, and trustees or executors who need assistance administering the estates of their loved ones. She drafts and implements wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care documents (such as health care proxies, living wills, and HIPAA designations). She regularly assists clients in creating irrevocable trusts for Medicaid asset protection purposes.
Ms. Eichinger’s clients benefit from her knowledge in the areas of both elder law and trusts and estates; with an eye on the costs associated with long-term health care, she offers practical and competent counsel regarding her clients’ future estate plans. She is known for her compassion in working with clients after the death of a loved one or in planning for their own death or incapacity. Her clients are based in Westchester and Rockland Counties.
Bridget’s prior experience includes estate planning and estate administration at Hollis Laidlaw & Simon, a firm near her home in Rockland County, and serving as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the Environmental Litigation Division of the New York City Law Department.
