Matthew serves as Counsel with Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP and focuses his practice on emerging technologies and litigation. He has extensive experience in all phases of litigation from inception to verdict. Matthew was previously Associate Counsel with The Legal Aid Society of Westchester County where he defended indigent defendants charged with felony offenses. Subsequently, Matthew was an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of the New York State Attorney General where his practice encompassed civil litigation. Immediately prior to joining the firm, Matthew was in private practice where he focused on professional liability defense, general liability defense and commercial litigation.
As part of the firm’s Emerging Technologies & Blockchain Practice Group, Matthew has expanded the breadth of his litigation practice to include blockchain, cryptocurrency, Web3 and NFT litigation. Matthew also advises companies on blockchain, cryptocurrency, Web3 and NFT matters, with a focus on best practices and risk management. Matthew is also a member of NYSBA’s Task Force on Emerging Digital Finance and Currency.
